Treasure Island

There is a little boy who only has a mother. His father died when he had a very bad sickness. The boy and his mother ran a hotel all by themselves. They do not have a lot of free time to do stuff they want to do. Ther is a pirate that comes to stay at the hotel. He liked to drink rum a lot. He told the boy that he would give him a silver coin every month if he kept a look out for a pirate with one leg and a eye patch. The pirate gets very sick and had to stay in bed for a very long time.

One day a guy with one leg and an eye patch comes to the hotel to talk to the pirate. So he went up stairs to see the pirate. When he got up stairs and saw the pirate, he put a note on the pirates chest. He growled and walked down the stairs and out of the hotel. The pirate picked up the note and read it out loud. The note read you have two days to give us the map to the treasure. The pirate took the note and crumbled it. Two days later, the pirate with one leg comes back with his men and order him to come down. The pirate did not come outside to see them so they broke the door down. The pirate with one leg goes up stairs to find that the pirate was dead and the treasure map was stolen. The boy and mother were outside of the hotel in the back with the treasure map. The pirate with one leg does not no it so he goes outside in the the street to look and gets run over by horses. The horses hurt him so bad that he died instantly.

This book is the third in the series.It is hilarious.It's about Greg Heffley who has all kinds of promblems.He has an older brother named Rodrick who is not nice to him.And he has a younger brother that is spoild and gets away with everything.Greg never gets any playing time in soccer, has bad grades and has to do his own laundry.
He got detention and can't get a girlfriend.His bus no longer drives him to school so he and his friend,Rowley,have to walk to school while their bus passes them and all the kids on the bus tease them.The last staw is when Greg's Dad thinks it's going to be a good idea to send him to military school.Greg gets out of it by convincing his Dad that everything will be o.k.if greg joins the boy scouts.This makes a whole other set of problems for Greg!

Into the Firestorm

This book, by Deborah Hopkinson, is about a kid named Nick. Nick is a road kid who works as a cotton picker, but he thinks he isn't getting a sharecrop so he tries to find a new job. He finds a job at Mr.Pat Patterson's place. Nick convinced him that he needs help with a lot of stuff. Mr.Pat Patterson leaves for business in Oakland and leaves Nick in charge of the place. Nick meets his dog Shake [ named after William Shakespeare]. Mr.Pat Patterson said to keep watch of him closely because it's one of his greatest treasures. Nick also met Annie. Shake and Annie become very good friends with Nick. Suddenly there was an earthquake and then an aftershock. This made a huge fire that had no sign of slowing down. Coming at Nick, Annie, and Shake they have to get moving fast. They have a slight chance of making it out of the fire then Shake goes missing. Is Nick going to keep moving or risk his life by going back into the firestorm for Shake?

I recommend this book for people who like exciting books. This book was so good, I could never put this book down! This book is based on the San Francisco fire of 1906. By reading this book, now I know what it felt like being in that fire. I hope you get the chance to read this book, because this is a good one.

There is a boy named Percy Jackson. His father went out to sea and never returned, so he now lives with his mother Sally Jackson. They live in an apartment with a smeally old man named Gabe Ugilo, and he treats Percy and Sally like they were his servents. One day Percy and his mother went on a trip and meets something along the way. Then Percy goes to camp Half-Blood and he is asked to go on a quest to recover Zues's great lightning and he meets a lot of monsters on the way, and whill all thats going on he finds out who his dad really is.

I reccamend Lightning Thief to people who like monsters, and greek mythologicol stuff.

The great book of Scorpia will tell you all about Alex Riders` family and what really happend and Alex found out that his dad worked for a secret spy named Alan Blunt and Mrs.Jones who help Alex on his journey.

I recamend scorpia to anyone who likes action and super spy stuff like gadets like exploding I-Pod and zit cream that burns holes through Iron, Steel ,and wood.

The Phantom of the Opera

This book is about an opera house in Europe with a singer named Christine Daae who's father died years ago. Her father told her he would send the Angel of Music to her after he died and was in heaven. After her show, she meets Raoul, a boy who was her friend years and years ago. After that they fall in love, that's when disaster strikes. Bad things start happening, the Dutchesse's drink gets poisoned so she can't sing, the grand chandileer falls to the ground, and Christine disappears. Can Raoul find her before it's to late?

This is a great book. I reccomend it to anyone who likes romance, thrill and action. It really keeps you on your toes. It's got a great story line and plot.It's even based off of a real opera. It's a great book so I hope you will read it.

Stormbreaker

Stormbreaker is about a kid named Alex Rider whoose uncle dies in a car crash. He thinks that something is wrong because he died from not wearing his seatbelt. Alex knows that he always wore his seatbelt in the car. He found out that his uncle didn't work for a bank, he works for M16 wich is a spy agency. When his uncle died Alex became part of M16. he gets sent to spy on Mr. Sayle of Sayle Enterprises who is making high tech computers called stormbreakers for every school in England. Alex has to see if he is telling the truth or up to no good.

This book is really exciting and has a good point to it. It is easy to understand and has tons of action in it. It shows alout of detail wich makes it a good story.

Moving Day

This book is about a girl named Allie Finkle and her parents tell her she is moving. She does not want to leave her friends and her school. She thinks if she does alot of tricks to make her house look bad no one will buy it. Then she goes to her bestfriends house and tells her about it. After that the made brownies and Allie acidentily hit her bestfriend with a spatula. This caused a really big fight because her bestfriend is very sentsitive.Allie got even more mad about moving because now her bestfriend won't even say good bye to her. When Allie goes to see her new house it looks old,rotty, and haunted. Allie tried to force her parents not to move because she thout there was a zombie hand in the attic.

I thought this book was ok because some parts it got boring but the rest was really good. I would recomend this book to any body who likes stories that are more based on girls. This book is petty long but is worth reading. Also at the end of each chapter it would leave you on a clif hanger which would make me want to read more. I think I would have enjoyed this book more if I read it in the summer for fun.

I absoulutely loved this book! I usually don't go for mystery books, but this was a one of a kind! This book twists and turns in every way, you don't know what happens until you read it yourself! This game is truely a mystery. I have never read a book like it ever! This mystery MUST be solved! But will everyone like the answere? I certainly did!
