Alice In Wonderland

Alice in wonderland is about a girl named Alice who is with her sister when she sees a rabbit hopping by. Alice follows the rabbit into a strange rabbit whole like no other. She fallows the rabbit into the whole and she finds herself falling a great distance. After a while, she finally lands with a thud! Alice starts exploring when she finds a bottle that says "DRINK ME."She decided to drink it, when she shrunk down to nine inches. She decides to explore again, now that she was the same height as the others. She finds a little house with a little man sitting outside. They start to talk, when a plate gets thrown out the window. Alice walks inside to see what was wrong, when she fins to guys and a little dormouse. The first guy, Hatter, said to Alice that she should really meet the Queen. So Alice decides to go meet the Queen, when she meets a cat like no other. This cat could disappear and reappear in a different place.The cat led Alice to the Queen, where she was playing croquet. The Queen was like no other Queen, because if you do or say one thing wrong, she would chop your head off! The Queen told Alice that she should go see the mock turtle, to hear his tale. The mock turtle started to tell Alice his tale, when he thought he should teach Alice a new dance. To find out what the tale was, to find out if Alice ever got home, you have to read Alice In Wonderland!

If you want to read a different book for a change, this would be the book! My favorite character was the strange cat, because it would really cool to disappear and reappear! You could sneak up on your friends, and scare them! The cat could slowly disappear,so your head could be where people can see it, but your body would be gone! If you read this book I am sure you will like the book and the cat as much as I did!This book is by Lewis Carroll.

No Talking

This book is about a boy named Dave and a girl named Lynsey. Dave thinks girls talk way more than boys but Lynsey thinks boys talk way more than girls. They decide to have a contest to see who talks the most, boys or girls in the 5th grade. The contest would last for two days. Soon the whole 5th grade knew about the contest. The rules were you can't talk to teachers unless they ask you a question but you must respond in three words or less, you are not allowed to talk at home, and every extra word you use would count against you. Dave would keep track of the boys mistakes and Lynsey would keep track of the girls. When the contest started it was going fine except the teachers were getting suspicious because the 5th grade was know for talking and if they just stop talking every one notices. the three word answers were getting annoying to the teachers they thought it disrupted their classes. The principal did not like this game at all she thought it was better for them to talk. She called a meeting right before lunch with the 5th grade. She told them it must be put to an end. At lunch they were still not talking so she was mad. Soon Dave got called to the office. When he got there the principal was not mad at all she was happy. Dave did not understand what was going on. The principal had turned out to like the no talking thing so she only called Dave to her office to say thank you. In the end it ended as a tie.

I really like this book. I have always like Andrew Clements books for soon reason they just entertain me. it was like you were in the story and a part of no talking. The only thing is you kind of know whats going to happen next sometimes. I hope you read this book.

The Magician's Nephew

The Magician's Nephew is the first book of the Chronicles of Narnia series. It is about a girl named Polly, a boy named Digory, and their Uncle Andrew. Polly and Digory go into Uncle Andrew's, and he tricked Polly into taking a yellow ring and she vanished. Digory went to go save her and brought a yellow ring and two green rings to take them home. When Digory got to where Polly was, they decided to go to another world. That world was Charn.
In Charn, Digory woke up Jadis the evil witch and she followed them all the way home. Digory and Polly had to stop Jadis from doing evil things in their world. Uncle Andrew became her servant. Digoy and Polly stopped Jadis and brought her Uncle Andrew, Cabby , and his horse. They accidently take her to a new world, which they call Narnia. They met all the animals and their leader Aslan, the lion. Jadis got away in that world and they never found her. Cabby and his wife became the King and Queen of Narnia, and Digory's mother became better and they moved somewhere new. Polly still lives where she was and goes to visit Digory in the summer.
I like this book because I liked reading about all the animals they saw. I would recommened this book to people who believe in magic and think any thing is possible!

Eragon

This story is mainly about a boy who is hunting food then all of a sudden a big light comes out of now where and a little blue rock comes out of the light and lands on a leaf Eragon goes to pick up the rock to see what it was. He just picks it up and shakes it to see what it was even though it was a rock he thought it would sell for a big price of money. Eragon is very poor his family is poor and never once have they had enough money to buy food so he tried to sell the rock but no one would buy it. So he went to a merchant to see how much the rock was worth and the merchants weight carrier broke right in front of him the merchant quickly grabbed the rock to see how much it weighed it weighed less than 1 pound. Then strange things start happening like empire soldiers coming into Carnvahall and these strange beasts come in called ra`zac and in the other book you will find out what these animal beast things are. Then at night the rock starts moving then a crack appears on the rock then the rock hatches into a dragon. The rock was actually an egg a rare dragon egg the only people who owned dragons were the riders they failed a long time ago like 300 years ago. But then Eragon had to make a name for the blue female dragon. Her name is now Saphira.

Doesn`t this book sound so cool I bet you, you want to read this book just like I did and I recommend this for 4th grade and up. One other sequel to this book is Eldest is when Eragon

is planing to destroy the empire and take the other two dragon eggs so the dragons will be freed not a pet. Here is a picture of the book (up left corner the first one).

I liked this book because the characters were very cool. Also, it is a little nerve-racking. Finally, I liked this book because it was very fun to read!

for M16, England's top-secret intelligence agency. By the way, Alex lives in England. Alex finds his uncle's car in a junkyard with bullet holes through the windshield. Alex then goes to his uncle's bosses and asks what is actually going on. They told him the whole story. They want Alex to pick up where his uncle left off, in his last mission. That is to find out information about Herod Sayle and his so called computer named the Stormbreaker. They also want him to find out Ian Rider's killer.Will Alex do this life risking mission, and will he find out what is wrong? Or does Alex not decide to go?

This book was outstanding! I could never put this book down. This book delivers a great amount of action-packed events and breath-taking moments. I recommend this book for people who like action books and exciting books. I really liked this book a lot!

Unfabulous The Meltdown

Addie Singer is a 13 year old girl wh o is in the 8th grade.She has a older brother named Ben,a mom named Mary,a dad named Doug,and a dog named Nancy.She has 2 best friends who help her through the good times and the bad times.But unfortunatley she is having a problem with her friends right now.She has borrowed way to much money from her friends and can't pay them back.She goes to her mom for advice and her mom suggests getting a job.Addie thought it would be a great idea even thought she has not worked 1 day in her life so she wasn't expecting it to go well!

Addie startes putting up fliers saying ... DOG WASH DOG WASH BIG,SMALL,FAT,OR THIN I WASH THEM ALL!!!Addie was very excited when she got her frist call and them more started POURING in.It turned out that the job was to hard for Addie to handle.She asked her dad what she should do.Her dad offered to put up a lemonade stand.Addie went with the idea but she only got enough to pay Geena back for the earrings she bought.Ben got tired of hearing her worry about paying Geena and Zac back so he finally told her to just start babysitting. Addie thought it was a great idea and jumped on it she wondered why she didn't think of it in the first place.She put fliers up and 3 days later she got a call from her neighbors down the street.They wanted Addie to baby sit their daughter Skarlett.They said they would pay Addie $50 a hour which would make Addie almost half way away there to paying from paying Geena and Zac back.

The next day Addie told her mom good bye and right before Addie could head out the door her mom said how much are they paying you?Addie said $50 a hour!!! Her mom looked suprised and said anybody who is willing too pay that much money just for 4 hours is out of their mind i mean ther must be some catch.Are you sure you will be able to handle Skarlett?Yeah I'll be fine .

Addie ran out the door hopped on her bike and rode all the way down to the Parker's house.

After her dad and mom had left Skarlett started going wild Addie looked at a note Mr.Parker left her and is said MAKE SURE TO GIVE SKARLETT JUICE IF SHE GETS TO WILD!!!But the bad part is Addie didn't see the part where it said p.s not to much or else it will give her a stomach ache!!!!Addie gave Skarlett 4 packs of juice for her to drink while she watched TV with her Skarlett tried to tell Addie she wasn't feeling good but Addie wasn't listening she was to busy watching her favorite TV show!Skarlett tried to tell her again but instead Skarlett threw up all over Addie,the new white couch,and the new carpet!Addie didn't know what to do but it was to late because Mr. and Mrs. Parker had already walked through the door with their mouths wide open.

Of course Addie got fired and she had to confess that she couldn't pay back Geena and Zac but they forgave her and everything went back to normal!
