Everest Book Two: The Climb

Everest Book Two: The Climb is an awesome book. Everest is mostly about four kids, Dominic, Tilt, Sammi, and Perry who try to climb the biggest mountain in the world. They travel to Nepal and begin their training. The altitude is high and Dominic can't take it. Dominic gets HAPE, which means it is hard to breathe. When they get to camp, Tilt spreads news about Dominic to reporters. Cap Cicero, the leader, doesn't know that Tilt was spreading the news. During Dominic's recovery , the team starts up the mountain.
When Dominic recovered , he was helping the sherpa's. The sherpas carry and lift bags for the climbers. Dominic was the youngest , but he was by far the strongest. When Dominic started up the mountain, he could feel the altitude changing. The weather is very harsh, it can get to minus sixty-six degrees. The suns rays are so strong, they had to wear sunscreen. When they reached camp four, Cap Cicero was listening to the radio to see if any teams had made it to the top. He heard a weird noise, it was Ethan Zaph's sherpa, Lansang. Ethan Zaph is the youngest person to ever reach the summit. Lansang said that Nestor, the journalist, was unconscious, but Ethan wanted to continue his climb. Ethan's team was trying to climb Everest without oxygen masks.
Many climbers make poor decisions when they don't have enough oxygen in their brains.
That meant, Dominic, Sammi, Tilt and Perry would have to save Ethan and Nestor.Once they found them, Ethan was in the death zone with no oxygen. They strapped oxygen masks on and headed down. Perry noticed Nestor didn't have any crampons on his feet. Crampons are razor sharp shoes that climbers wear to have more traction. They realized that they were stuck in his back. When they pulled the crampons out, he screamed.
When they arrived at camp four, Cap Cicero and Dr. Oberman were waiting in the tent. Dr. Oberman took Nestor down to camp two and eventually back to the city to recover.
At the end, Nestor is okay. Tilt confesses that he was spreading the news and everybody is okay.
If you like suspense, action, drama and adventure, then you will like the Everest series. After I read the first book, I was looking forward to reading Book Two:The Climb. I really liked Everest Book Two:The Climb. It is action packed, drama filled and one of the most intense books I have ever read.

A Solitary Blue is a book about a boy named Jeff and has a mother named Melody, who left him and his father, the Professor, when he was in second grade. It had been seven years, then one summer Melody had invited him to spend the summer with her in South Carolina. So Jeff went to see his mother. Jeff met so much of his family, he loved the wilderness there, and he loved spending time with his long lost mother! When he goes back the second time every thing is going wrong. His mother is not as nice as she was before and is never home any more, his grandmother is to old to talk to him and she is grumpy, and most of all he finds out that his mother never wanted him any more! When he gets back his father decided to move and never go back to his mother! Will things get better for Jeff or will they get worst? Read the book to find out!!

I would recommend this book to kids that love drama, action, suspense, and wilderness. If you like these things than this book is for you!

This is a really good book. There are four main charactors in this book, Kaz, Dante, Andria, and Star. They are four kids that like scuba diving and start doing some research on marine life. When they were diving one day, the find a shipwreck and a note that said: Telodo. They find out that it was the fifth atlantic crossing. So they went back up to land found out that there is 1.2 billion dollars worth of treasure on that shipwreck. The wreck was in a place called the hidden shoals. Then they find out that there are six people after the treasure. So they send a water proof camera to get a better look at the shipwreck. Then they find another person to help them named captain Vanhoover find the treasure, and he let them use a extreemly nice sumbarine. They go down in the ship and do you think they find the treasure. I won't tell you just read the book and find out.

I highly recomend this book. It is great for fifth graders. this book has a lot of action and suspense. you should read this book because it has a good amount of pages and has a lot of everything. The auther is Gordan Korman

Pish Posh

The book Pish Posh is about a girl named Clara and her parents own a restaurant called Pish Posh. Clara never gets along with any children and all she wears is a plain black dress and black sunglasses. One day she finds this girl named Annabelle. Clara finds out that Annabelle is a bugalar. Clara asked Annabelle to steale something for her. She wants her to steal an envolope that a doctor who was just killed has in his old office, because this girl named Audrey who works at Pish Posh has records from the office and Clara needs to find them because Audrey has so medical condition but no one will believe her because she looks just fine. When Annabelle gets out of the building that she stole the records from she runs into some trouble when the security guard comes and finds her stealing it. But then when a big crowd suddenly appears out of no where and the security guard can't find them through the crowd they escape. They get the form to Audrey and she gets all better but then she out of no where she dissapers. But they know that she has gone somewhere good.

I recomend this book for girls in the forth, fifth, or sixth grade. It is a great book full of adventure and suspense.

My book was called The Wanderer. This book is just right for you if you like adventure and a whole lot of suspense!This book is about a young girl named Sophie who goes on a very exciting adventure with her cousins Cody and Brian. She also goes on this journey with her uncles. At first Sophies mother didn't want her to go on the adventure. As soon as her uncles and cousins came to get her and the boats ready her mom had no choice but to let her go with them! On this adventure their destination is Ireland. They are gonig to Ireland from Connecticut. They are going to Ireland to see their grandfather Bompie. They are going to see Bompie for two reasons, the first reason is that he is very sick and he has a nurse living at his house with him. The second reason is, they haven't seen him in a long time and they wanted to catch up with him and see how he is doing. Although there are some bumps along the road while they are traveling to get there. They are traveling just fine until there are storm clouds up ahead. They would turn around but, then the storm would be pushing them with it and they would never stop going. They decide to go straight through the storm and luckily they made it out safely. After the storm they took a rest and docked at a small town nearby. The people there are very nice. All of a sudden no one can find Sophie and Cody? Where could they be? They found a small boat and traveled to an island that their grandfather Bompie met his first wife at. Cody did not know that the island is where their grandfather had met his first wife Rose. They stayed there for only a day and when they came back they headed off to continue their journey. They were about three fourths away from their destination.Two days after they started their journey they were there in Ireland they were so excited to be there. That night they had to stay in an inn until their grandfather was well enough for them to be able to see him. The next day they headed to Bompie's house and when they approached him the nurse said to be very calm and quiet because he is very confused and doesn't know who they are, who he is , why they are there, and who they are. But, when they started to tell him one thing about each of them and a couple of things about his own life then he started to understand them. They were very happy to see him as his old self again! Sadly the nurse said that they had to leave and he needed some rest because it ws very overwhelming for him to see all five people at once. Even though there were ups and downs in this book it was definetly a good book!

I absolutely recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense, drama , and especially adventure! You can find it here in our local Woodbrook library! The author of this book is Sharon Creech. Catherine is a teenage girl who has a little brother named David. David has autism. Sometimes Catherine gets annoyed with David because he does stupid stuff in public. One of those things that he will do in public is pull his pants down if they get the tiniest bit wet. Catherine creates a set of rules for David so he does not embarrass himself or others. There is a family that is moving in next to Catherine and David and the family has a girl about Catherine's age. Catherine really wants to make freinds with this girl. There is only one peroblem...David. One day, Catherine's mom asked her to go next door to invite their family to a cookout that tonight.Catherine is not so confident about the idea because she does not want David to do something stupid in front of their new neighbors.Luckily for Catherine, they could not come. You have to read the book to find out how the story ends.

I recomend this book because it is fun, interesting, and it teaches us about autism. It also teaches us that just because someone has a disability, that does not mean that they are not still a human just like me and you.

How he got on this island is because of his father who is a electrician on the island. When he comes to the island, all of the kids on Alcatraz are impressed with a girl named Piper, who comes up with a lot of schemes. Moose has a sister named Natalie who has a disability. Moose's parents want him to watch his sister while his dad works and his mom teaches piano lessons. His sister got suspended from her school and Moose has to help with her until she is able to go to school again. Moose would rather play baseball than watch his sister.

The Swiss Family Robinson

The Swiss Family Robinson is about a family- Elizabeth (the mom), a dad, and 4 sons Fritz 15, Jack 13, Ernest 11, and Francis 8- and their crew, are sailing along the sea in hope to find a new island by New Guinea. Then a big wave came, and the crew had to get into inflatable boats and get sail in those. They forgot to take the Robinson family with them, so the family was stranded there. The family found some barrels, to make a boat, 2 dogs (named Turk and Flora), a cow, 2 goats, a mule, 6 sheep, a pig, some hems, roosters, pigeons, geese, and ducks! Land was not far away from the broken boat, so the family made life jackets for the animals. On land, the Robinsons built a house in a tree and a barn for their animals. There was a storm coming, so the Robinsons had to build a tent on the ground as their new home. The next day, Fritz went exploring and found a monkey, a coconut tree, and European fruits. Fritz, Dad, Turk and Flora, went out hunting and found buffalo. They killed a mother buffalo, and took her baby and they kept and tamed it. The Robinsons had to make a home in a cave, because of another storm. They decided to celebrate the 3 years the have been there, so the threw a party. Days later, the family ran into a python, and had to stay in their house. because they shot at it, but it didn't die. The snake rapped it self around the donkey, and then swallowed him whole. Fritz went out and shot the snake. A couple days later, they all were out hunting, when Ernest came screaming back, because there were 2 bears. The guys got their guns, then shot them both dead. They family made coats, gloves, beds and food out of them. Ten years had past, since they first got on the island. Fritz had came back from searching, and had pearls and a note that said someone else was trapped on the island. They found the lost person on the island, and her name was Emily. An English ship arrives, and they offered to take the family home with Emily and the crew. The family loved their new home, do the go? To find out, you must read The Swiss Family Robinson.

I LOVED this book, because it was really fascinating, the family had to move their home a couple times, they found animals they haven't seen before. It was a really good book! For example when the snake wraps itself around the donkey, you would think the donkey would stay alive, well you would be wrong! This book was really good!

Alex Rider a 14 year old, just found something Scorpia. Scorpia is a terrorist organization that kills people. Alex doesn't know who they are until he meets up with Yassen Gregorovich. Yassen tells them who they really are. When Alex tries to fight Scorpia he just loses all the time. So instead of fighting them he should just join Scorpia. In this book there are bad guys, schools, heros, villians, and a weird story at the end. What will happen?

I liked this book because it was cool. It was also fun to read because there were so many action/thriller parts. The book was awesome to because there was excitement on every page.

The Ear, The Eye, and The Arm

Tendai, Rita and Kuda are the kids of General Matsika, Zimbabwe's chief of security. Tendai is said to be soft by his father because he hates fighting and others' pain. Kuda is different, he loves fighting. Rita is really good with Math. Another character is the Mellower, whose real name is Anthony. His job is to settle down the General and give praises to the family. Tendai, Rita, and Kuda want to explore the city and get their badges, so the Mellower tricks their parent's by letting them go with a signed form. Their first stop is Mbare Musika, a food market. While they are there, they get kidnapped by two people called, Fist and Knife. They are the helpers of the She Elephant. They are kept as slaves for a long time, but they soon find a way to escape. They escape to a place with the trash man called, Resthaven. Meanwhile, their parents find out, and get detectives, The Ear, The Eye and The Arm, to look for them. The detectives go to the She Elephant's place, but they are not there. They continue trying to look for them. While the kids are at Resthaven, they are accepted and cannot leave. They soon, however, get accused of witchcraft, and are banned from Resthaven. Then, they go to the Mellowers mother's house where she waits to get a reward for them. The She Elephant soon goes there and steals the children to give to the Masks, a bad gang. Will the detectives find them in time?

I like this book because it is about detectives, adventures, and crimes. People who enjoy exciting adventure and detective books will like The Ear, The Eye, and The Arm.

Roy has just moved from Montana to Florida. He is on the bus. While he was looking out the window, he saw a boy. It looked like just an ordinary boy. A boy that was running to catch the bus. There were just a few things that weren't right though. When he was running, he had no backpack. He also had no shoes. And the oddest thing of all: When the boy Reached the bus, he just went right past it. Roy was very curious. He tries to Chase after him the next day. He couldn't because he was also facing a bully named Dana Matherson. Dana clamped his damp, meaty hands over Roy's throat. Roy was struggling to get air; he blindly swung his fist. Then, Roy felt his hand hit something.... Dana Matherson's nose! Apparently, Roy broke Dana's nose. At the same time, there is a crime done at the new Mother Paula's Pancake House. Roy wonders if the running boy, Dana, and the crime would all tie together somehow.

I liked this book because it was very exciting. From the cover, it seems very boring. It's actually very interesting! I liked it because there are two mysteries that are tied together. I would highly recommend this book

Meg's story is about a girl who is 13 years old she has 3 other sisters named Jo,Beth,and Amy.Meg's parents aren't the richest people around in fact they pretty much are really poor.Jo is selfish but Meg has to learn how to live with her.Beth is really caring she loves the outdoors and doesn't like it when people are sad.Amy is the shyest of them all she always wants another doll to play with; she is also the youngest of the group!Meg is my favorite not just because she has the same name as me but because i love how she holds all of her sisters together because without Meg Jo,Beth,and Amy would be fighting all the time!

Meg sometimes feels unappreciated because she feels like its always up to her to do the right thing when she thinks her sisters should amke the right decision for themselves.Jo says Meg is just over reacting but in my opinion i agree with Meg!Beth always trys to do stuff on her own but sometimes it hard because she is still very young and its hard for her to go to her mom for advice because her mom is always busy with something and her dad is always at work!Amy is the youngest and she will always need someone to look up to;and Meg does not want that person to be Jo because she just doesn't think her sister has the responsible side.So Meg has to be in charge but the part that i love about this book is they stick together like glue!!!

So go ahead and read this book i loved and so will you!

This book is part of The Clique series. The author is Lisa Harrison. This is a very good book.I probably recommend this for anyone 8 and older.

This book is about 4 girls who are BFFLs ( Massie, Kirstin , Dylan, and Alicia). When Alicia and Olivia cheat in the costume contest Massie trys to give Alicia every revenge she can think of. It went from bad to WORSE! While Massie is trying to give Alicia revenge, Alicia trys to act like she doesn't care, and she tryed to start her own Clique. When really they both care. On the other hand Claire has a new boyfriend and this problem with Alicia. Sooner or later they will become friends, but it happens in the weirds way. You'll have to read it to find out.

The Great Sockathon is a really good book. This book is told in four different pionts of view, Sabrina's, Megan's, Connie's, and Daisy's. This book is different then most books. It's a book about sticking together, trust, and sticking to what you have begun. I really loved this book.

THE END

The End is the last book of the Series of Unfotunate Events. It is the thirteenth book in the series. This book is about three orphans named Sunny,Klaus, and Violet. After they burn down the last safe place of V.F.D. they take a boat from the pool up on the roof and make a chut from the hotel roof and the ocean. Count Olaf their ex guardin (after their mother and father die in a terrible fire caused by Count Olaf) Count Olaf also wants the orpahns fortune that their parents left behind when they died. While out at sea with the orphans and meany Count Olaf, a bad storm comes. It wrecks their boat. When the storm was over all four of them ended up on a island, but it wasnt like any other island it was a coastal shelf. A coastal shelf is where some point in time everything will end up on this island. Then a little girl came named Friday. She asked the orphans to come with her, but not Count Olaf because Count Olaf was saying, "Welcome to Olaf land! Bow down to your rightful king ME or else i will shoot you with this harpoon gun!' Friday did nothing, but walk away with the three orphans.Friday told Ishamel ( the head leader) about Count Olaf. Later on, the islanders went storm scavenging, wich means to look for useful items. When they came back to Ishamel what they found he kept saying, " you can keep it , but it might make people scared or you might rock the boat, but if it were me i would through it in the abtroueum. Later ib, another storm comes, so they go storm scavenging. Klaus, Sunny, and Violet all see a big cube of books and a foot in pain. It was Kit Snicket. Kit Snicket is pregnat right now. Count Olaf came out looking like Kit Snicket by putting on a sun dress, using seaweed, and a diving helment that has a very deadly fungus in it to look pregnat. No one was fooled because they all knew it was Count Olaf with another one of his unsuccessful shichisms. The islanders lock him up in a bird cage, but Count Olaf to Ishamel that sunny had a wisk, and Violet had a ribbon in her pocket, and Klaus had his common place notebook. Ishamel said if you want to stay with us you have to give up those belongings, but they refused. Ishamel also refused to let Kit Snicket join the islanders. Later on in the night two islanders made a promise that they would bring them cordial and food every night and morning if they helped them make a weapon for a upcoming munity. When they go to the abtroueum....... I can't tell what happens next becuase this is when it starts to get really exciting you'll just have to find out for yourself! Their is more than just going to the abtroueum, rember the fungus, Count Olad, Kit Snicket, Ishamel, and the islanders. Their is even a little true love in it!

I recomend this book 100 %. I love the series and so will you, but you will have to read the first book to get the last book and all the books before this one. Their is also a movie on it about the first three books that can give you an idea on what you might be reading. The author is so mysterious and a good writer to! I hope you read this book and the whole series too!

Lost and Found

This book is about twin brothers, Jay and Ray. They moved from Colorado to Ohio and they start going to a new school called Taft Elementary School. The first day Ray is sick so he doesn't go to school. When Jay is in class he notices that they don't say Ray's name off the attendance list. Jay figures that it's just a mix up. Then he looks at the list and there is no Ray Grayson the list. So he goes home to Ray with a plan. The plan is that they switch off being Jay. That means one guy goes to school and the other stays home. Will this plan work or blow up in their face?

I liked this book a lot. It's by one of my favorite authors Andrew Clements. It's a great story it was so much fun to read. I think everyone should read it. It was AWESOME!

He played for the Golden State Warriors. He was an amazing basketball player till he got into a car crash that almost killed him. Rich decides to make a travel team of his own. The Middletown Warriors. Then they won their first game and they went to celebrate, but his dad gets into another car crash. He survived. Then the big day came. They face the Middletown Vikings, in the Tri-Valley championship. Can they beat the Vikings with Danny as their coach?

Travel Team is an amazing book. I would recommend this book to people who like books with amazing endings and gets you cheering all the way till the end. The author of this book is Mike Lupica.

The contest is two girls run together and make the uniform and then everyone picks the uniform they like. So Massie and Claire run together and Alica and her friend Olivia run together.But Alica and Olivia won but they cheated.If you want to know how they cheated then read Best Friends for Never.

I loved this book so much it was funny, exciting, interesting ,a little sad, but very good I would even love to read it again.

Point Blank is the second book in the Stormbreaker series. It is all about a 14 year old boy named Alex Rider. Alex just finished his first mission Stormbreaker. He is behind on homework, and it is bugging him that he can't tell his friends why he was actually not at school. He admits that he misses doing spy work. One afternoon though, Mr.Crawley comes and takes him to M16, they have another mission for him. Recently, Michael J. Roscoe and Viktor Ivanov have died from freak accidents. They both have sons attending Point Blanc. [ By the way, Point Blank is actually spelled Point Blanc]. Point Blanc is a place for very rich kids who act very bad and their parents don't want them anymore. Anyways, Alan Blunt has a suspicion that both their deaths have some link to Point Blanc. M16 is sending Alex in to see if this is true. If it's not true, they'll bring Alex right back. From the start, Alex knew there was something wrong, but he could never figure it out. The kids start to act strange. His new best friend James Sprintz starts to change. Will Alex find out what is wrong? Most importantly, will Alex find the link to the two deaths?
Point Blank was amazing! It was so good that when I looked at the book, I immediately had to read it. This book has an ending that you would never expect. I recommend this book for people who like exciting and fun to read books. If you like Stormbreaker, you will love Point Blank! Jonathan

The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm

The Ear, the Eye, and the Arm is about General Matsika's three children get kidnapped. The General is the general of security of Zimbabwe in the year of 2194. He can't find the children, so he hires detectives called the Ear, the Eye, and the Arm. The children are captured and they have to work as slaves in a plastic mine. They escape and go to Resthaven with a guy named trashman. Resthaven is a country that is a lot different than Zimbabwe, because it doesn't have the technology that Zimbabwe does. They also escape from there because they find out that the people living there are very mean. They take the subway to Barrowdale because the mellower's mom lives there (the mellower is the generals person that calms him down). They find out that she is working with the mellower to get a reward for whoever finds the three children. So she keeps them ans waits for the general to offer a reward.

This book is interesting and has parts where you can't put it down. it is very action packed and has some parts that are hard to understand. But I would still recommend it to anyone that wants to read a good book.

Alice in wonderland is about a girl named Alice who is with her sister when she sees a rabbit hopping by. Alice follows the rabbit into a strange rabbit whole like no other. She fallows the rabbit into the whole and she finds herself falling a great distance. After a while, she finally lands with a thud! Alice starts exploring when she finds a bottle that says "DRINK ME."She decided to drink it, when she shrunk down to nine inches. She decides to explore again, now that she was the same height as the others. She finds a little house with a little man sitting outside. They start to talk, when a plate gets thrown out the window. Alice walks inside to see what was wrong, when she fins to guys and a little dormouse. The first guy, Hatter, said to Alice that she should really meet the Queen. So Alice decides to go meet the Queen, when she meets a cat like no other. This cat could disappear and reappear in a different place.The cat led Alice to the Queen, where she was playing croquet. The Queen was like no other Queen, because if you do or say one thing wrong, she would chop your head off! The Queen told Alice that she should go see the mock turtle, to hear his tale. The mock turtle started to tell Alice his tale, when he thought he should teach Alice a new dance. To find out what the tale was, to find out if Alice ever got home, you have to read Alice In Wonderland!

If you want to read a different book for a change, this would be the book! My favorite character was the strange cat, because it would really cool to disappear and reappear! You could sneak up on your friends, and scare them! The cat could slowly disappear,so your head could be where people can see it, but your body would be gone! If you read this book I am sure you will like the book and the cat as much as I did!This book is by Lewis Carroll.

No Talking

This book is about a boy named Dave and a girl named Lynsey. Dave thinks girls talk way more than boys but Lynsey thinks boys talk way more than girls. They decide to have a contest to see who talks the most, boys or girls in the 5th grade. The contest would last for two days. Soon the whole 5th grade knew about the contest. The rules were you can't talk to teachers unless they ask you a question but you must respond in three words or less, you are not allowed to talk at home, and every extra word you use would count against you. Dave would keep track of the boys mistakes and Lynsey would keep track of the girls. When the contest started it was going fine except the teachers were getting suspicious because the 5th grade was know for talking and if they just stop talking every one notices. the three word answers were getting annoying to the teachers they thought it disrupted their classes. The principal did not like this game at all she thought it was better for them to talk. She called a meeting right before lunch with the 5th grade. She told them it must be put to an end. At lunch they were still not talking so she was mad. Soon Dave got called to the office. When he got there the principal was not mad at all she was happy. Dave did not understand what was going on. The principal had turned out to like the no talking thing so she only called Dave to her office to say thank you. In the end it ended as a tie.

I really like this book. I have always like Andrew Clements books for soon reason they just entertain me. it was like you were in the story and a part of no talking. The only thing is you kind of know whats going to happen next sometimes. I hope you read this book.

The Magician's Nephew is the first book of the Chronicles of Narnia series. It is about a girl named Polly, a boy named Digory, and their Uncle Andrew. Polly and Digory go into Uncle Andrew's, and he tricked Polly into taking a yellow ring and she vanished. Digory went to go save her and brought a yellow ring and two green rings to take them home. When Digory got to where Polly was, they decided to go to another world. That world was Charn.
In Charn, Digory woke up Jadis the evil witch and she followed them all the way home. Digory and Polly had to stop Jadis from doing evil things in their world. Uncle Andrew became her servant. Digoy and Polly stopped Jadis and brought her Uncle Andrew, Cabby , and his horse. They accidently take her to a new world, which they call Narnia. They met all the animals and their leader Aslan, the lion. Jadis got away in that world and they never found her. Cabby and his wife became the King and Queen of Narnia, and Digory's mother became better and they moved somewhere new. Polly still lives where she was and goes to visit Digory in the summer.
I like this book because I liked reading about all the animals they saw. I would recommened this book to people who believe in magic and think any thing is possible!

Eragon

This story is mainly about a boy who is hunting food then all of a sudden a big light comes out of now where and a little blue rock comes out of the light and lands on a leaf Eragon goes to pick up the rock to see what it was. He just picks it up and shakes it to see what it was even though it was a rock he thought it would sell for a big price of money. Eragon is very poor his family is poor and never once have they had enough money to buy food so he tried to sell the rock but no one would buy it. So he went to a merchant to see how much the rock was worth and the merchants weight carrier broke right in front of him the merchant quickly grabbed the rock to see how much it weighed it weighed less than 1 pound. Then strange things start happening like empire soldiers coming into Carnvahall and these strange beasts come in called ra`zac and in the other book you will find out what these animal beast things are. Then at night the rock starts moving then a crack appears on the rock then the rock hatches into a dragon. The rock was actually an egg a rare dragon egg the only people who owned dragons were the riders they failed a long time ago like 300 years ago. But then Eragon had to make a name for the blue female dragon. Her name is now Saphira.

Doesn`t this book sound so cool I bet you, you want to read this book just like I did and I recommend this for 4th grade and up. One other sequel to this book is Eldest is when Eragon

That is to find out information about Herod Sayle and his so called computer named the Stormbreaker. They also want him to find out Ian Rider's killer.Will Alex do this life risking mission, and will he find out what is wrong? Or does Alex not decide to go?

This book was outstanding! I could never put this book down. This book delivers a great amount of action-packed events and breath-taking moments. I recommend this book for people who like action books and exciting books. I really liked this book a lot!

Addie Singer is a 13 year old girl wh o is in the 8th grade.She has a older brother named Ben,a mom named Mary,a dad named Doug,and a dog named Nancy.She has 2 best friends who help her through the good times and the bad times.But unfortunatley she is having a problem with her friends right now.She has borrowed way to much money from her friends and can't pay them back.She goes to her mom for advice and her mom suggests getting a job.Addie thought it would be a great idea even thought she has not worked 1 day in her life so she wasn't expecting it to go well!

Addie startes putting up fliers saying ... DOG WASH DOG WASH BIG,SMALL,FAT,OR THIN I WASH THEM ALL!!!Addie was very excited when she got her frist call and them more started POURING in.It turned out that the job was to hard for Addie to handle.She asked her dad what she should do.Her dad offered to put up a lemonade stand.Addie went with the idea but she only got enough to pay Geena back for the earrings she bought.Ben got tired of hearing her worry about paying Geena and Zac back so he finally told her to just start babysitting. Addie thought it was a great idea and jumped on it she wondered why she didn't think of it in the first place.She put fliers up and 3 days later she got a call from her neighbors down the street.They wanted Addie to baby sit their daughter Skarlett.They said they would pay Addie $50 a hour which would make Addie almost half way away there to paying from paying Geena and Zac back.

The next day Addie told her mom good bye and right before Addie could head out the door her mom said how much are they paying you?Addie said $50 a hour!!! Her mom looked suprised and said anybody who is willing too pay that much money just for 4 hours is out of their mind i mean ther must be some catch.Are you sure you will be able to handle Skarlett?Yeah I'll be fine .

Addie ran out the door hopped on her bike and rode all the way down to the Parker's house.

After her dad and mom had left Skarlett started going wild Addie looked at a note Mr.Parker left her and is said MAKE SURE TO GIVE SKARLETT JUICE IF SHE GETS TO WILD!!!But the bad part is Addie didn't see the part where it said p.s not to much or else it will give her a stomach ache!!!!Addie gave Skarlett 4 packs of juice for her to drink while she watched TV with her Skarlett tried to tell Addie she wasn't feeling good but Addie wasn't listening she was to busy watching her favorite TV show!Skarlett tried to tell her again but instead Skarlett threw up all over Addie,the new white couch,and the new carpet!Addie didn't know what to do but it was to late because Mr. and Mrs. Parker had already walked through the door with their mouths wide open.

Of course Addie got fired and she had to confess that she couldn't pay back Geena and Zac but they forgave her and everything went back to normal!

This book is about 3 kids. The kids names are Tendai, Rita, and Kuda. These children are the children of General Matiksa. The general says they can't leave the house because his enemy's might kill them.There is a Mellower and he gives the family a Praise sing every morning. A Praise Sing is a traditional thing in Africa. One morning while the Mellower is having a Praise Sing he asks the general if the kids can leave the house for a day and then the general says yes because ha is hypnotized. When they leave there is a very mean women waiting her name is the She Elephant. After being treated badly they finally escape and go with the trash man to Resthaven. While in Resthaven they meet some people who say once you come here you can't leave. So they say to each other we must escape and go to the Mellowers old house. When the escape, they go to the Mellowers old house and see his mother. While all of this is going on the mom of the children has hired detectives that have special abilities their names are Ear, Eye, and Arm. The Mellowers mom is not nice and she locks the kids up so they can't leave until they offer a reward. Well of course they escape again and when there leaving the She Elephant is there and takes them away. After she captured them she took them to the Masks. The Masks are bad people. The masks want to kill the children, but while the children are about to die arm came and saved all of them. Lucky enough they save Tendai in time for his 14th B-day. There are a lot of people there so they just decide to have his B-day there.

I think that this book is very good and you should read it! If you like adventure you will enjoy this book. This book is really hard to read and if you are a good reader then you should read it.

Will Aly succeed or does the future queen have other plans? Will the rakas ever rise again?

This book was very good, it was surprising because it was the last book. The last book to me, should always be the best and this book was. A lot of authors don't really deliver on the last book but this was great. It was a book that gradually answered my questions and in the end, the plot just clicked. It was definitely an attention grabbing book. This author made this book very creatively and it is spilling over with imagination. I liked this book, yes and it was definitely no let down.

No Talking!

This book is about a school called Laketon Elementary. The fifth graders there are never quiet. In fact they have a nickname "The Unshushables." There is a boy named Dave Packer. He read a book about a guy who didn't talk on certain days. So Dave decides to try not talking for a day. He was doing just fine until lunch when he hears Lynsey Burgess talking like there is no tomorrow. So he yells " If you have to stop talking for one second your head would explode." He ended up saying boys talk way less than girls do. So he challenges the girls to no talking for a week. It's boys against girls. The sides can only use three word sentences. The side that talks less wins.

This was a great book. It was funny and I couldn't put it down. I couldn't wait to see who won. This book had a great lesson.Stand up for what you believe in. I recommend this book to anyone who loves comedy and fun stories. It was the best book ever!

Mr.Popper's Penguins

Mr.Popper is a big fan of the Antarctic. He always listens to a radio with Admiral Drake talking about Antarctica. Although Mr.Popper is a house painter, he wrote once to Admiral Drake. To thank him for writing, Admiral Drake sent Mr.Popper a penguin. Mr.Popper has a wife and two kids that are about ten years old. They all loved the penguin. The family is poor though. They named the penguin Captain Cook. Of course, it costs a lot of money to take care of a penguin. Later, Captain Cook was feeling sick. Then, Admiral Drake sent Greta (another penguin) to keep Captain Cook company. Later on, Greta started laying eggs. It was very surprising because penguins are only supposed to lay two eggs at a time. Instead, She layed ten. Altogether, Mr.Popper had twelve penguins. This was very hard to keep them alive because they were not very wealthy. Will they be able to pay their money back?
I like the book Mr.Popper's Penguins because it is funny, exciting, and interesting. You just want to keep on reading! It's also very sad at times. I would still highly recommend this book.

Aly is sixteen and wants to be a spy for her father, but just because she wants it doesn't mean she'll get it. She tries to get her mother to side with her only to have her explode in anger, so she decides to take her ship, The Cub, to a friend's house by the coast. Unfortunately, she never gets there because she is kidnapped by pirates and sold as a slave. She is lucky because she is sold to the Balitang family who is nicer towards their slaves. The family is sent into exile by their crazed king, King Oron, and Aly makes a deal. The trickster Kyprioth is a raka god and was thrown from his throne as the ruler of the Copper Isles by his sibling gods. He tells Aly if she can keep this family safe for the summer he will send her home, she is but a pawn in his greatest trick ever.

I think this book was one of the books I just am always eager to read. I really liked the type of book with all the things that made it different. It was suspenseful at parts, but it changed very quickly. The plot was complicated and at times confusing, but very well thought out. All in all this book was wonderful and very interesting to read.

New Moon is another love story that is in the same series as Twilight.There are 3 people in this story who have a major secret their names are Bella,Jacob,and Edward.Edward's secret is that he is a vampire and when you are a vampire you stay the same age your whole life so you never get older nor younger.And Edward's dad (also a vampire) can't pass by as 32 much longer so they have to move and Edward feels bad about cause he has feelings for Bella as does she.Jacob's secret is that he is a werewolf and werewolfs only have 1 enemy and that is the vampire and since he is good friends with Bella he can't stand to be with her when Edward is.Bella's secret is that she is in love with Edward but she can't tell anybody who he really is or he could be in danger but its to late cause Jacob and Edward already are!!!

Since Edward had to tell Bella the bad news she has been heart broken and keeps hearing his voice in her mind.But ever since Edward has left Bella has been going out with Jacob.When Jacob and Bella get in a fight she starts thinking that he is not acting like the Jacob she knew and she didn't like the new Jacob he had become.She started to think he was he was getting bigger every time she saw him and she thought he was in a gang with a boy named Sam Uley who she doesn't like at all. But it turns out he wasn't in a gang he was in a pack!

Bella couldn't understand why he was acting so weird so she was finally brave enough to ask him herself .When she did he blew up on her he said i'm not even supposed to be near you Bella.She didn't understand.He was screaming saying i just want to be regular but I won't be ever again i used to be a regular kid just like you but it doesn't matter anymore cause its all over!Bella could hardly understand what he was talking about she wanted to know but Edward's voice was in her head telling her to just let Jacob cool down before you ask him that question.But Bella didn't listen and said you are being ridiculous!

she couldn't stand what he was saying but then that night she had a dream of him telling her he was a werewolf and then she sees Edward saying run Bella RUN! Bella couldn't cause she had gone into shock as she saw Jacob transforming into a creature!She woke up screaming that night not knowing what hit her.But she asked Jacob if he was the next day and it turns out he was.Now she knows he can run fast and she thought that werewolfs were bad but there not they try to save inisent people from vampire bites and more.

She learns that she has to trust Sam now cause he is a werewolf too plus she cannot get mad at Jacob cause when Jacob gets mad he transforms.She meets all of his werewolf friends and she has a fun time but Jacob has now just told her that they are trying to get this one vampire dead her name is Victoria and she is after Bella after Edward killed James in Twilight she is going after Bella now.Jacob has to protect Bella cause he loves her and doesn't want to see her get hurt.One day she realizes she can't stand the fact she might not ever see Edward again but she knows she is going to have to live with it.

When Bella starts heading home after a long day with Jacob she notices sounds coming from inside her house (LOUD noises)she wonders if its her dad inside but he never really has ever made that much noise before and so she starts running up the drive way and sees a little peice of hair on her front porch it was red hair and then the fact popped up in her head Victoria is in her house.Do you want to see if Bella survives through this.Well then read the book yourself but read the first book before otherwise you won't get the book at all!

Rebecca was a little girl ten years old. She is a slender little girl with dark hair. Rebecca was lively girl who was going to live with her Aunt Marandy and Aunt Jane Sawyer. She is sent there are many kids on the farm and not enough money. Rebecca grows up at her aunts house and she also goes to school there. She also has many adventures at the big brick house. Rebecca is a very bright student so that will pave her through her "path of life".

I absolutely love this book! It's a book about friendship, loving and caring. It's also about trust. Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm is a wonderful book. It's a classic book. I hope you will read it!

When he gets away he must now work for the C.I.A. on a special mission. They are going to Cayo Equeleto[Skeleton Key] to spy on a Russian General. C.I.A thinks he has a nuclear weapon. Cover Up

Cover Up is a book about these two kids who are reporters. Their names are Steve Thoms and Susan Carol. They get picked by USTV to be their broad casters but Steve gets fired just after two weeks. Susan wants to quit too, but she stays with USTV. Steve gets to be a writer and gets to go to a Super Bowl in Indianapolis. There he meets with the director of CBS and they want Steve to be one of their broad casters. Susan gets to go to the Super Bowl too. Susan goes out to a party and a drunk Doctor goes up to her and says that there are 5 football players who are taking a drug called GHG( human growth hormone). The teams owner Don Meeker is covering the drugs up the drugs! They have to tell the commissioner that there is a cover up!

I would recommend this book to people who like mysteries. This is the only book in the series. The author of this book is John Feinstein.

He also learns the happiness and love of his community and all the good things about his life. If people do not live up to their standards, they will be released. Jonas soon finds out what that means; death. To keep from being released, Jonas has to keep the memories of the community. Some might be happy and nice, but some of the memories are hurtful, sad, and filled with pain. Jonas will try hard to do his job and stay alive.

I thought this book was exciting and mysterious. People who enjoy science-fiction and adventure will love THE GIVER.

Heidi is about a girl named Heidi. She doesn't have any parents, but one of Heidi's friend, Dedie is watching out for her. Dedie takes Heidi to one of Heidi's relative her grandfather. Dedie comes a couple of days later, to tell grandfather that she is taking Heidi to a new home in the city and grandfather was not happy, but he had to let Heidi go.

Heidi liked her new home in the city.Heidi got some stuff from Claire who was her age, but she still missed her home. Heidi got so home sick that she started becoming very sick and wouldn't eat anything. The doctor said that Heidi should probably go back home. Heidi was ecstatic about this news! She knew she would miss Claire though. Claire and her family visited Heidi, but when it was time to go Claire got to stay longer. Claire didn't know how to walk, but that didn't stop them. They had a lot of fun,and there is also a surprise at the end. To find it out read Heidi.

I like this book because it is funny and it is fascinating. At fist I thought the book was kind of boring, but I kept reading, and I am so glad I did! It is the kind of good where it is hard to put down! I would recommend this book to people who just want to read something else. Well, I recommend this book to anyone!

The time bike worked, but Eddy failed his exams. His sister Eleanor finds out about the time bike,and goes back in time to save a pop-stars life. That trip did not work and Eleanor comes back home. Eddy went back in time 2,000 years. The trip was taking to long, and Eddy decided to stop the bike,and the bike broke. He whispered to the bike take me home. Please take me home. He finally got back home. The bike was so broken, he never went on trip again.

I like this book because it tells you a lot about trust, and how many memories you can remember.

This book is about two twins named Ray and Jay they are identical. Rays middle name is Jay and Jays middle name is Ray.For their whole life people have gotten them mixed up even their parents. The only way to tell them apart is Ray has a freckle on his right ankle and Jay doesn't.Ray and Jay moved so now there at a new school. Ray was sick on the first day of school so only Jay went. When Jay arrived at school he found out what it was like to not have a twin. Jay loved this felling.When they did attendance Jay notice they did not call Rays name for any of the classes. Also when Jay went up to ask the teacher a question he saw his profile and it was twice the size of every one else's. Jay soon figured out that the school thought Ray and jay were the same person. When Jay got home from school he told Ray about the mix up but not his parents because he had an idea. His idea was that only one of them had to go to school because they would not know the difference because Ray and Jay look alike. Ray agreed with Jay. So the next day they both walked out for the bus but Jay took a short cut to the garage and into the hide out they made while Ray went to school. This went on for awhile they switched who got to stay home and who had to go to school every day. One day Ray told this girl he liked what they were doing this girl promised she would not tell but of course she's a girl so she told people. Finally the school found out what was happening and the boys were in huge trouble with the school and their parents.

I really liked this book. At some parts it was confusing with the Rays and the Jays. It was still in my top ten though. I hope you read it.

There is a school named Woodbrook Elementery. There is a teacher in that school named Mrs. Tuttle. She has the best class in the whole school. There are three Macs in Mrs. Tuttles class. Two of them are best friends. They were both kid scientists. They exploded everything that their parents would allow them to explode. They experimented about everything in the world. They have been best freinds since kindergarden. They are in the fourth grade know. Two weeks after school started one the Macs moved to Seattle, Washington. The other Mac was very sad.
Now there were only two macs. The Mac that was not one of the best freinds was Mac R. His real name is Ben but nobody knows that. The science fair in Mrs.Tuttles class is coming up. Everybody has to have a partener. The two Macs got put together. Mac R. picks his nose when everybody is looking. They picked to do a volcano as their project. I can't tell you if they win. You will have to read it yourselve. I highly rocommend this book for young kids.

Marley and Me is about the Grogan family and they think it is time to buy a new dog. They live in Florida and just got married. One day they go to a place that sells dogs and they pick out the wild Labrador.When they get home they get home they name the dog Marley. When they get Marley he is a little puppy. Marley loves to play outside and run around by the beach. later they have 2 kids named Patrick and Conner. They love to play with Marley outside. later they leave Marley at home in his cage and Marley somehow gets out and chews pillows and expensive jewelry. When they come home they find the house all torn up and they get so mad at Marley.
later they move to Pennsylvania, the boys and Marley have never seen snow one day they all go outside to play and John(the dad) goes down a hill on a sled with Marley and they both loved it. 13 years after they got the dog he starts to have trouble walking, so he tries to go upstairs to lay with John and John has to help him. One day Marley was going down the stairs, Patrick and Conner yell "dad Marley fell down the stairs" John runs down stairs and makes sure Marley didn't break any bones. Luckily he didn't. One day Marley gets sick and so they take him to the doctor. They think about putting him to sleep and John and Jenny(the mom) think it is a good idea so they put his grave in their back yard and the boys make pictures.
Later there is an add in the newspaper about a dog as crazy and wild as marley and the pups name is Lucky.

Best Friends for Never is the second book in The Clique series. The author is Lisa Harrison. This one does not have a movie to go along with it unlike the first one. I really hope you read it. It is a very good book and here is more about it.

This book is about 4 girls, Massie, Alicia, Kirsten, and Dylan. Then there is Claire, she lives in Massies guest house. Massie, Alicia, Kirsten, and Dylan are really popular and don't like Claire at all. When Massie wants to have a Halloween party she has to be "friend" with Claire. On Halloween the 4 girls were there Halloween costume which are certainly not aloud in school. When the principal figures out they get in hug trouble and the principal makes a a very important decision which people may not be proud of. The school has to were uniforms, but luckily Massie got the principal to have a costume contest, who will win?

Breaking Dawn

Breaking Dawn is the 4th and last book of the Twilight Saga.This book has three stories, two of Bella's point of view and one of Jacob's point of veiw. The first part is Bella's. This book is about a girl named Bella who is 18 years old. She has been dating this mysterious vampire for about a year. Edward then asks Bella to marry her. Bella says "yes". They have their wedding which was great for everyone except Jacob Black because he is in LOVE with her. After their wedding, they go on their honeymoon. They went to Edward's mom's Island. Bella gets pregnant which is against the vampire rule and impossible because Edward is particularly dead and Vampire children are evil. When Bella was carrying the baby she went through so much pain people thought she wouldn't make it. When Bella is having the baby she is dying so Edward bits her. Bella then becomes a vampire. Usually when u become a vampire all you think about and crave is BLOOD! It's blood that blood this, but Bella has some kind of special power she doesn't crave blood, but she still drinks it. Jacob's Point of View- Jacob's pack wants to kill Bella's baby while she was carrying it which meant that they had to kill her. Jacob and Seth don't want to and Jacob wants to be the alpha and have his own pack.One day, he gets really mad at Sam. Jacob runs off alone. A few hours later Seth Clearwater comes because he doesn't want to be under Sam's power and doesn't want to hurt Bella and her baby.Jacob and Seth keep watch around the Cullen's hunting border.Jacob then sences a werewolve and thinks it's Sam and his pack.Jacob runs off to go see who it was. It was only Leah Clearwater. Seth's sister. Leah is afraid of Seth getting hurt and she wanted him to come back home to La Plush. Seth doesn't want to go so Leah stays even though Jacob and her don't get along at all. The wolves keep watch, but no sign of the werewolves. Then one of Sam's pack members come to ask for forgiveness and wants the three to come home, but they don't go they want to protect Bella and the Cullen family. Bella's Point of View- Bella is a newborn vampire with a newborn baby. When Bella, Edward, and Reneseme go hunting Irina (one of Tanya's coven) sees Reneseme and she thinks it is a Vampire child (which are forbidden because they killed so many people which could have exposed the world of vampires.) Irina then runs off to tell Aro and his Coven. Alice has a vision that they were coming. Aro really wants Edward and Alice to work for him, but he wants Alice more. Alice runs off with Jasper and leaves clues for Bella and a note for the Cullen family. One of the clues, told Bella to meet this guy called by Jenkins. He gave Bella two fake ID's. One for Reneseme and the other one for Jacob. She made these so Reneseme could run away with Jacob and not die like her vampire family might. The Cullen's the ask all the vampire covens they could to help the Cullens prove that Reneseme is human and vampire and she brings no harm. Aro and his coven comes...who dies.......does Reneseme die or does she stay alive..... find out for yourself by reading "Breaking Dawn"

I recommend this book , but it is very long it is around 720 pages long. I loved this book sooo much it is one of my favorites in the Twilight saga. I thought it was really sad when i finished the series. I didn't know what to read, but I did find a series that I should have finished last year. I also can't wait for the movies! You must read this book!
